Mommy and Me
This fun filled class brings you and your child together thru light exercise and games designed to develop strength, mobility while working on those very important motor skills.
Creative Movement
This class is geared to the 2 and 3 year olds. It’s the same as our tot’s class but in a less structured atmosphere. It provides an awareness of their body as it relates to dance and music together.
Tots
Children 3 and 4 years old are taught a combination of ballet, tap and acrobatics. It provides them with poise, grace and confidence. Work is directed to their motor skills for flexibility and coordination.
Combo Class
A combination of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Acrobatics geared towards children 5 and 6 years old. The class provides a well-rounded introduction to dance.
Ballet
Fundamentals of Barre and Center Work. Ballet is a must for proper development in any other form of dance. Ballet develops placement and proper technique. Ballet is a requirement of any student in Jazz or Lyrical Level 3 and up.
Hip Hop
A dance which consists of the latest street dancing style as seen in current dance videos.
Pre-Pointe
A pre-requisite for Pointe. It develops added strength in the calves, ankles and feet.
Boys Only Hip Hop
This class is specifically structured to help you child in all sports through strength and conditioning, agility, balance, rhythm and endurance. Sports enhancement with a hip-hop twist.
Pointe
The study of ballet using Pointe shoes. A ballet class must be taken along with this class. Our instructors will advice students of when to advance to Pointe. Serious damage can occur if a student is not developed fully in their feet.
Tap
The study of rhythm and patterns using tap shoes. Basic time steps fundamentals are taught.
Jazz
A combination of technique movements to upbeat music.
Contemporary
A combination of expressive, circular and released movement. Concentration on breath, falls and recovery, gravity and the center of the body is stressed.
Lyrical
A very expressive form of dance comprised of Jazz and Ballet moves that include isolation control, balance and extension; showing great feeling and emotions. A form of dance that combines contemporary movements and stylized technique.
Tumbling
Tumbling and tricks on mats. Basic to advanced floor moves are taught.
Zumba
Zumba is a Latin Inspired Fitness phenomenon that brings a spicy, upbeat mixture of salsa, merengue, samba, belly dancing hip-hop and many other beats to the class. It's is dance fitness with the EMPHASIS ON FITNESS.
