Golden's School of Dance has been providing professional dance instruction in the Chicago land suburbs for over 45 years. Located in St. Charles within the Sportsplex, we offer dance instruction from Beginners through Adults. Young dancers start as early as 2 years of age. We offer classes for every age level from tots, juniors, teens and adults. We offer Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Pointe, Ballroom and much more.

We have three dance rooms. Each room is fully mirrored and equipped with sprung dance floors to minimize dancer fatigue. Video cameras are installed in each dance room which allows parents to view their child’s dance activity on our television monitors while comfortably waiting in the lobby. Or, if parents prefer to surf the Internet or get some extra work done while their child dances, the lobby is equipped with Wi-Fi Internet. We have a DVD viewing and coloring book area so little brothers and sisters can keep busy while their older sibling dances. At the end of each year, Golden’s showcases the hard work and effort put forth by students and teachers at a themed recital. The Recital provides parents, family members and friends an opportunity to watch a stage performance that is fun and educational for the dancer as well as entertaining for the audience.

If you are interested in performing on stage, we are launching our GSD Performance Company in 2009. The Performance Company allows young dancers the ability to showcase their talents at various venues in the surrounding communities.

For those looking to go beyond the local community venues and are interested in competitive dance, our Work of ART (a.k.a. WOA) Dance Company competes in four regional events every year and one national event. WOA has been showcasing its talented dancers in the Northwest Suburbs for more than 10 years. The Golden's Work Of ART Dance Company has been recognized with top awards by judges for soloist, duet, trios, group and production routines. |
